Chapter 5 – The Triumph of Steam
As with all chapters we start with the story on pages 124 to 127.
Oliver Twist was written by prolific author Charles Dickens.
He wrote about the social conditions of the time and wrote everything from short stories to epic novels.
We will see an adaptation of Oliver Twist when we watch the movie musical "Oliver!".
